I've had all manner of vehicles over the years, most of them totally forgettable. People sometimes ask me if I own a car... well, I do.

I had a 1995 Subaru Impreza to get me to the race track. When the "Check Engine" light came on, and I couldn't figure out what to do to get it to go off...

I replaced that with a 2000 Impreza Outback. Far fewer miles, more buttons. I had that for years, until it was starting to show electrical problems, and again the dreaded "Check Engine" light was coming on intermittently. Screw that.

As a project vehicle, I bought a 1985 Volkswagen Vanagon. It's had a new engine, rebuilt gearbox, respray, new stuff and new stuff.

I replaced the Subaru with my first ever brand new car, a 2010 Jeep Wrangler Islander.

After almost 9 years with the Jeep, we replaced the Jeep with a Chevy Bolt.
